Effective May 2025 Eligibility for the Canadian Dental Care Plan will be expanded to the following groups: Persons aged 55-64 (May 1st), Persons aged 18-34 (May 15th), and then those aged 35-54 (May 29th).

Eligibility for Ontario residents

    • Have no access to dental insurance;

    • an adjusted family net income of less than $90,000;

    • be a Canadian resident for tax purposes; and

    • have filed a tax return in the previous year.

    • Basic services such as exams, check-ups, cleaning and x-rays

    • Fillings, root canals and extractions

    • Major services: crowns & dentures (prior-authorization required)
